Device owned by the operator of this analysis (an Axera AX513CE-based IPC module). Identification: SoC package marking read (photo) as 'AXERA / AX513 / CE9WM3-00A / M04601202 / 0UAAWA 2504' = Axera AX513CE (3MP HD IPC SoC, 64 MB DRAM, 0.5 TOPS light CNN accelerator, dual 5M MIPI-CSI). PCB silkscreen reads 'A31_MAIN_V1.0' -- the 'A31' is board text only; there is NO Allwinner A31 SoC. Flash: XM25QH64C 8 MiB SPI-NOR (page 256 B, erase 64 KiB); U-Boot env is the 128 KiB tail at 0x7e0000. Status: NO shell yet. U-Boot autoboot is non-interruptible (no `=>` prompt); default + empty-root logins are rejected ('Login incorrect'); UART RX is unresponsive. Intended first-shell vector is a scoped U-Boot env patch (rdinit=/sbin/init -> init=/bin/sh) applied ONLY to the config region via a flashrom layout -- no whole-flash read has been performed and none is sent here (a whole flash would expose the owner's Wi-Fi/cloud IDs). OpenIPC catalogue search returns zero hits for 'Axera', 'AX513', 'A31_MAIN'; Axera is not in the supported-SoC list. Requesting classification + maintainer review of this new camera. Open questions: (1) Is 'Axera' the actual camera maker, or merely the SoC vendor (the product/brand is unknown to us) -- we used maker=Axera only as a best-known SoC-vendor default. (2) Preferred OpenIPC path for a non-supported SoC such as Axera. Once the SOIC8 clip arrives the env patch will be applied and ipctool run; a follow-up report will include ipctool YAML and -- if the owner authorizes -- a full backup.
