OpenIPC is free to use and expensive to make. Donations buy cameras for new platforms, pay maintainers, and keep the lights on.

Where the money goes

Core team members spend their own money on cameras and SDK access to expand hardware support. Funds ease that burden, compensate part-time maintainers, and cover trade shows and vendor meetings where hardware partnerships actually happen.
