A 2MP IP camera module. Sensor: 1/2.7'' SmartSens Tech. SC2235 third-generation CMOS Sensor; SoC: HiSilicon Hi3516Cv300 third-generation Professional HD IP Camera SoC with h265 support; resolution 1920x1080 at 25 frames per second.
Used in mid-range and premium outdoor and indoor cameras, with excellent performance for day and night video.
The SC2235 is one of the most successful creations of the Chinese company SmartSens: they managed to make a sensor with an excellent night picture that outperforms the competing F22. It is even positioned as a StarLight-series sensor, allowing colour recording at night.
The manufacturer states support for two-way audio, an alarm input, and an expansion board with a MicroSD card and a WiFi module.
