A 2MP IP camera module. Sensor: 1/2.8'' Sony IMX291 Back-Illuminated CMOS image Sensor; SoC: HiSilicon Hi3516Cv300 third-generation Professional HD IP Camera SoC with h265 support; resolution 1920x1080 at 25 frames per second.

Used in mid-range and premium outdoor and indoor cameras, with excellent performance for day and night video.

The IMX291 is a Starvis-series sensor from the Japanese company Sony Semiconductor. It is a timeless classic and is still the best among its peers for night picture quality. It allows a colour picture at night. Only one sensor comes anywhere close to it in sensitivity, the SC2235, and even that one falls short.

The manufacturer states that the module supports two-way audio, an alarm input, and an expansion board with a MicroSD card and a WiFi module.
