IP camera module IVG-85X30PSA-ST (XM535AI + SC3335)
A 3MP IP camera module based on the custom Smartsens SC3335 sensor and a new SoC from Xiongmai, the XM535AI, with h265 support, at 1920x1080 25 frames per second (real-time FullHD). It is used in budget outdoor and indoor cameras and performs well for both day and night video. The Smartsens SC2235P sensor was ordered by Xiongmai from Smartsens specifically for its own products, and the in-house XM530AI SoC not only lowered the final cost of the product but also improved its performance by reaching 25fps (as opposed to 20fps with the Hi3516E SoC). The SC2235P is made with an improved process compared with the SC2235, while having the same characteristics and a lower cost.
The module replaced the IVG-85X20PS-S; the SoC is the same, while the sensor has become more sensitive and higher in resolution.
The module can be used to repair or upgrade a camera or to build a new one. On request, the module can be flashed with firmware supporting autofocus and PTZ functions (giving the IVG-85X30PSA-AF-2812) or with firmware supporting the IPeye cloud (this service allows recording directly to the cloud. This means that only the camera needs to be installed on site; a recorder is no longer required! Cloud recordings are viewed in a browser or in a convenient mobile app).
